The tower cranes in Comansa’s 500 Series are the smallest in the entire range and are designed for projects requiring light loads and a medium reach, such as residential construction projects.
Thanks to the optimised weights of all their parts and fast connections between sections, these cranes are assembled easily, safely and in very little time, meaning savings on auxiliary assembly cranes.
Moreover, there are several parts that can be shared by all the Flat-top tower cranes in this series, particularly jib and counter-jib sections. This allows rental companies whose fleets include several cranes from this series to be able to set up multiple configurations without needing to purchase all the structural parts of a specific model. All the models in the series have a wide variety of reach every 2.5 metres.
The 500 Series tower crane parts are monoblock sections, which are easy to transport and store. Its width of 1.2 metres allow assemblies in very tight spaces, such as a lift shaft.
The 500 Series tower cranes come with an optional panoramic cab, which enables maximum productivity thanks to complete visibility of the load and the work area, and ensures operator comfort with a full range of features: Thermal and acoustic insulation, standard tinted windows and heating, etc.

The 1100 Series includes flat-top tower cranes with maximum loads of 5 to 8 tonnes and maximum reach of 52.5 to 65 metres, with possibilities every 2.5 metres.
These tower cranes come with Comansa’s double trolley system, with automatic reeving switchover to optimise the load diagram:When the crane needs to move its maximum load, it works with the double trolley. When the maximum jib-end load is required, the crane only works with the front trolley and at the maximum speed. Except for the 11LC90 model, the 1100 Series tower cranes use panelled tower sections. This design makes it possible to transport the same metres of tower section in fewer shipping containers or lorries, saving money on transport, especially for long distances.
The 11LC150 crane is a model designed for somewhat more demanding jobs, where it is necessary to hoist heavier parts like beams or small precast pieces of up to 8 tonnes. Compared to the smaller models in the 1100 Series, this crane is better equipped to work on non-residential constructionprojects, like small bridges, industrial facilities, etc.
The crane comes with a hoist motor featuring the Effi-Plus high-speed system and a drum with 440 metres of cable, enabling excellent performance on projects at great heights. For use at greater heights, the 11LC150 can be equipped with other optional motors with greater hoist speeds (up to 310 metres per minute) and even more cable capacity. The 11LC150 crane comes standard equipped with Comansa’s CUBE cab, guaranteeing the productivity of the crane and the comfort of the operator.

Within the wide range of flat-top tower cranes offered by Comansa, the 1600 Series can be considered mid range. The tower cranes in this series have maximum loads of 8, 10 or 12 tonnes and reach of 65 or 70 metres.
These models share several jib sections with the 1100 Series, while the 2-metre-wide tower sections are compatible with those used by the tower cranes in the 2100 Series. This compatibility and interchangeability between sections makes it easier to manage rental fleets.
Another advantage of these Flat-top tower cranes is their design with no cat-head part, making assembly easier. Moreover, all the parts of the series are lightweight for quick and safe assembly.

The tower cranes in Comansa’s 2100 Series are designed to offer maximum performance in projects involving heavy loads.
The hoist speed in these projects becomes a key factor for achieving greater efficiency, which is why these tower cranes come standard equipped with Effi-Plus high-speed hoist motors to work at speeds of over 330 metres per minute (depending on the model).
Comansa’s modular system allows most jib parts to be interchanged between the different Flat-top tower cranes in the series, which can result in major savings for rental companies, meaning they do not need to buy a complete model if they already have a tower crane from the same series.
The 21LC660 flat-top crane is designed to be used for public construction, industrial construction, mining and infrastructure projects. With its 84 metres of jib, it has the longest reach of any Comansa crane.
Like the 21LC750 crane, this model features an innovative slewing part that makes the assembly process quicker and easier and reduces costs in terms of auxiliary equipment. Moreover, the two models share most jib and counter-jib parts and can be assembled on the same bases, a great advantage for managing fleets of rental cranes.
The 21LC660 features different options for motors and hoist cable drums for optimum performance on projects at great heights.
The 21LC1400 flat-top crane is expected to be used mainly in infrastructure and PPVC (Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction) projects, but this new model also provides an enhanced performance in any other project which involves lifting very heavy loads, such as in shipyards, mining and other industrial sectors.
Like Comansa’s most recent developments in the 21LC family, the 21LC1400 crane features a modular design counterjib to significantly reduce the operating radius in small sites. A new single and highly compact trolley-hook has also been designed for the 21LC1400 tower crane instead of Comansa’s single-double trolley system, standard in its other models, as this new crane works mainly in projects in which maximum load capacity is required for almost every lift. In addition to this, a new cage, designed as an extension of the range that includes the latest upgrades of cages previously available only for smaller cranes.
This flat-top crane is offered with versions of maximum load of 50 and 66 tonnes and can be erected with reach of between 30 and 85 meters, extendable up to 90 meters with configurations every 5 meters.

The tower cranes in the 3000 Series, the largest in Comansa’s flat-top range, were fundamentally designed for public construction, mining and heavy industry projects. The maximum loads of the tower cranes in the series range between 32 and 90 tonnes.
In designing them, Comansa stayed true to its flat-top philosophy and designed a tower crane that is easy to assemble and transport. To do so it developed an innovative jib section design where the top can be folded and unfolded to be transported in open-top containers. The 4-metre-wide tower sections also feature a special Comansa design to make them easier to assemble and transport.
The Flat-top tower cranes in the 3000 Series come standard equipped with the comfortable CUBE XL cab and Comansa’s digital indicator system, which gives the operator all the information needed to have optimal control of the crane.
